Mulik the Zulik is a six-episode limited series based on the extraordinary true story of Shmuel Keren-Krol. Beginning with his joyful childhood in a close-knit Lithuanian Jewish community, the series follows seven-year-old Mulik through the devastation of the Holocaust and into the newly established State of Israel, where he becomes a decorated IDF officer.

But liberation is not the end of Shmuel’s story. The series explores what happens after survival—when buried trauma, grief, and memory continue shaping both a man and the young nation he helps defend. It is a powerful story about resilience, identity, the cost of silence, and the difficult journey from surviving to truly living.
