^{Vered Cohen is a nonprofit executive and organizational leader with more than 20 years of experience in Jewish communal service, nonprofit operations, fundraising, finance, human resources, strategic planning, and community engagement.}

^{Born in Tel Aviv and deeply connected to both Israeli and American Jewish life, Vered brings a personal understanding of the importance of building strong relationships between communities in the United States and organizations working directly with people in Israel.}

^{Vered has served as Executive Director of Congregation Beth Sholom in San Francisco and Congregation Netivot Shalom in Berkeley. In these roles, she oversaw multimillion-dollar budgets, fundraising, staffing, human resources, facilities, communications, membership, programming, risk management, technology, and board relations.}

^{Her leadership has produced significant organizational growth, including substantial increases in revenue, fundraising, and net income, as well as improvements to financial systems, workplace culture, donor engagement, and operational efficiency. She has managed teams of more than 50 employees, supported large-scale community programs and events, and worked closely with clergy, lay leaders, donors, volunteers, families, and community partners.}

^{Vered’s professional experience also includes entrepreneurship, business operations, human resources leadership, program development, and organizational consulting. She is known for her ability to bring structure, compassion, creativity, and practical solutions to complex organizations.}
